Jo Lathwood for Cole of Calif.

Jo Lathwood, was a designer who created lines of sportswear for Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Cole of California and White Stag and who introduced her version of the bikini on the sands of Santa Monica
more than 50 years ago, at Canyon Beachwear on Entrada Dr. 
This is a rare vintage shift from her designs at Cole of California. The body is a soft and sturdy raw cotton in bone white with coral pink and indigo blue print ( kinda reminds me of the Pierre Cardin logo…no?)
Same block print on both front & back, with her name in lower corner. The only booboo is a fade mark in the front bottom blue print ( see green onion for example) 
15 shoulder, 36-38 bust, 34-36 waist, 38-40 hip, 8.5 armscythe, 39 length. 
You just don’t find her stuff very often! What a treat this is:) This shift belonged to Lea and was actually purchased at my brick and mortar store in 2007.
Proceeds from the sale of this vintage gem goes to the estate of our dear friend that lost her life in 2022 and has 4 children navigating life without a mum.
