Beautiful 1920’s Pongee Silk Robe

You might be wondering why I am posting all of these beauties…. Wrinkled!?! Pongee silk should not be steamed directly…it most likely will cause ripples in the textile. So because my collection has been temperature controlled in storage, they are wrinkled. Best way to smooth em out? Hang them in your steamy bathroom. This robe is absolutely delicious! She does have scattered holes and a small seam pop at the collar. At 100 years old, I think she looks fabulous. None of her flaws make her unwearable. OSFM. 42 length, 11 armscythe.
