80’s Hai by Issey Miyake

Honestly… my favorite piece by him. Why? 
Because of its true wearability, this will not sit around for special occasions … this will be on HEAVY rotation in your life no matter the season. It SCREAMS high end high quality and it’s obviously designer!! The cotton textile is chef’s kiss. The attention to detail is top notch. It’s comfortable and versatile and timeless and stylish and… I could go on for days. 
The Hai pieces are hardly documented and after 1990- hard as hell to get your eyeballs on any true history. No damage but she could use a bath. Been in storage for years and has some wear staining. Makers label size medium. Basically a 48 bust waist n hips, 33 length. This is WAY better in the flesh than in my crappy photos. 
Proceeds go towards our dear friend Lea’s estate… she left behind 4 young adults that could use some assistance navigating life without a mum. Xx
