1960's Does 1940's Style Jantzen Cardigan

Since finding a 1940's Catalina sweater is like finding a unicorn...someone decided to hand braid lambs wool yarn into a neck tie and stitched it on to a 1960's Jantzen cardigan. Guess what? It worked & looks adorable!  Beautiful Karmann Ghia blue with licorice black deer and bird novelty print...dotted with blue plastic candy buttons down the front. She is in fabulous condition and ready for fall. No damage that I can spot. This gal is not itchy...yay! 17 shoulder, 40 bust, 36 waist, 42 hip, 10 armhole, 19 sleeve length, 23 length. THERE IS MORE ROOM FOR BOOM IF YOU NEED IT...I didn't add the stretch meashys but you can get more out of her. I love that the waist band is not bulky so you could tuck her in if you fancy that look. She is lighter in weight than some sweaters. I'm a fan!
